Execution of an effective kicking combo in Taekwondo?
I want to do an effective, easy, and damaging kicking combo for my next sparring session. I need it urgently for my belt promotion. I need to beat my fifth dan black belt coach
It is clear without knowing anything else about you that you don’t understand either TKD or the situation you are in within it. First Combinations are more for training your ability to to make a quick and smooth transition from one technique to another. Although you can use combinations to a limited extend in sparring, you should not get stuck in that frame of mind. I say that because you can do a combination in the air all you want. Once yo face someone that is fighting back it is much different. You may not get a chance to do the whole combination. Either the opponent counters in some way, or he is out of range before you finish. Fighting should always be flexible and anble to respond to what is needed at any instant in time.
The other issue is that you mention trying to best a 5th dan. I must assume from the fact that you asked this question that you are not an advanced student. If the 5th dan is truly a legitimate 5th dan, you have your hands full. I seriously doubt that anyone cane tell you how to defeat him here on Y/A.
