What is the criteria or requirements to meet a self defense/Jujitsu orange belt?
This is my third year doing self-defense/ Ju-Jitsu. Last year i did not pass my orange belt because our sensei changed and decided to strengthen are base furthermore… But what i want to know is what moves are expected of me. I know i will be told to practice, but i want to get a head start to cath up with a friend of mine who is naturally gifted.
So could you please tell me? Or send me a site that does?
As well as i’d like to know for a green belt too? If possible?
Thank you!
A best answer WILL be chosen so please answer!
There are many different styles of Jujitsu. I can tell you from experience that some styles are very different from others. The bottom line is that every one may have different belts as well as different requirements. The only way to be sure of a correct answer is to ask your Sensei. Anyone giving an answer that does not train in your dojo is only guessing.

Opinions on kenpo jujitsu?
I’m starting this thursday. Anyone know any additional information about it’s origins, philosophy, attack style, etc?
I answered this with a long answer just the day. Rather than post it here is a link to the question.

For the record, We don’t ever call our Kempo system Kempo Jujitsu. I teach a Kempo system which has many Jujitsu like techniques, but they are not from jujitsu. I also teach a separate jujitsu style. Some of the techniques in my Kempo are also in my Jujitsu style as well. but I teach them as separate arts. My students learn both. The only way most of them know what is what is by checking their notes. It all fits together so well that it seems at times as though we do only one very diversified style.
