Search Judo
Need help remembering MMA name?
So it was about a year ago I was searching the web for anything MMA. I came across this one type of excersize /fighting style I never knew about.Here’s the catch I can’t remember what it’s called. I’ve tried desperately to search for it again (again a year later), but I am unsuccessful.It wasn’t Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai, Capoeira…. I want to say it was something along the lines of Gimnasio Natural, but every time I type that into search, it goes to gymnastics. I can describe it as almost a form of pilates & Capoeira meets a boot camp lol. It has been frustrating me for quite some time. I should have book marked the page. >< If you have any clue as to what I'm talking about, PLEASE help me!

In what martial arts can you learn these weapons?
Sai
Nunchaku (How many can you use?)

I forgot the name but its a blade that is curved at the end of the blade

By the curved blade i mean that its shaped like a hook at the end.
some good answers. the blade you describe sounds like a kung fu weapon of various names…tiger tail hook for example. like a straight sword …but shaped like a tire iron with a drastic hook on the end.
sai (mainly okinawan kobudo, but also taught in some southern chinese systems)
nunchuku (mainly okinawan, but also taught in the filipino martial arts sometimes) ***most of the time you use one or two, 3 would be useless as you can only hold 2 at a time***
staff (taught in virtually every art including chinese arts, japanese arts, okinawan arts, filipino arts)
kama (okinawan arts)
3 section staff is mainly a chinese weapon.
understand many of the weapons will overlap and interchange. sai could be two sai, two knives, two sticks..etc.
