Judo Karate Games

Can anyone play more than one game in one olympic games like in summer olympic games?

like if anyone is able to play taekwando, judo and karate or more in single olympic games

Certainly, but they have to qualify first. It’s hard to qualify for one sport, let alone two. There is no rule stating an athlete can’t compete in two different sports. However, if they do, they would have to take into account both sports competitive schedule, when and where the event takes place. Also the different training required for each sport, time and dedication is another factor to take into account.

While its never heard of, it isn’t impossible. Competing in different disciplines is much more common. While what your asking is never heard of, competing in two different sports at separate Olympics isn’t. For example, Clara hughes competed in both speed skating and cycling, winning medals in both sports. While they are different sports, both are very similar. I think that is more common because of the same training they require. It would be very difficult for an athlete to achieve such a feat, probably the reason it has never happened before. All-in-all, it is possible but very difficult to achieve.

Hope that helps. :)

Martial Arts Rhythm

Martial Arts Rhythm
Dancing tutorial videos on youtube? developing rhythm?, any advice?

Are there any videos on youtube that can give me lesson 1 on dancing and developing rhythm before I venture out to take some proper lessons.

I would like to start taking Capoera, which is a Martial Art based around acrobatics and dance, and I would like to be able to start break dancing too, but I’m rhythmless, and would like to start developing some, and maybe a few basic dance moves.

Any videos or advice you can give me about starting out with this?
Thanks.

Rhythm really can’t be taught; it can only be learned. It is something you have to teach yourself. To try and develop a sense of rhythm, try listening to a variety of music; the bigger the selection, the better. Listen to stuff that you like, whatever it may be. Everything has some sort of a beat. The beats are usually distinguished by drums, though not always. For example, most music for Argentine tango doesn’t use drums and the beat is carried by the bass. Try to pick out the beats in each piece of music. Try simply tapping your fingers or toes along to the beat, possibly focusing on one beat more than another, varying the rhythm you create. Try dancing to it, stepping on the beat, waiting (or ‘holding’) on another.

Capoeira involves a lot of strength and balance; work on that. Flexibility is also important, work on some stretches. Try a few balance exercises, like balancing on one foot with the other out in front, barely above the ground; or even just walking along the edge of the curb on the sidewalk or on a (stable) log in the backyard.

Most important, though…relax. Have fun. It’ll come. It may take longer than you hope or expect; it may come sooner. Don’t frustrate yourself worrying about it.

Hope I helped!
