The Ultimate Fighter is the first reality show on Spike TV. The show is for the UFC and veteran candidates compete for a UFC contract. The Ultimate Fighter is a reality TV show which 16 participants live together and fight for a pair of Ultimate Fighting Championship contract. The UFC is in 4 weight categories, heavy, divided light heavyweight, middleweight and light weights. In the first season of The Ultimate Fighter we have 8 light heavyweights and eight middleweights, with four of each trained by two legendary UFC competitors, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell.
