Martial Arts Ranking Karate

Bjj As A Martial Art
A best way to stay fit and learn self defense is through martial arts and some of the most common martial arts are Karate, Kenpo, Ju Jitsu, Kung fu, and Tae Kwon Do which are mostly originated from the South East Asian Regions of the world. All of the martial arts shown in movies are oriental in nature compared to anything else. The western people were touched by some of the martial arts movies. Oriental martial arts terms like Kimono, Katana and Chi are rather popular in the West nowadays.
A common martial art is sword fighting which did not really catch up with the western world as compared to the popularity of the oriental martial arts. Of late the trend is changing with a western martial art gaining popularity into the movies, not one but two of them to be precise and they both come from the same place. Out of the two, one is the kicking martial art that is shown in the movie rooftops which the strong alone can practice and what is called by many as Capoeira in Brazil. However, the growth of Capoeira is overshadowed by the emergence of a popular martial art form called Jiu Jitsu in Brazil around 1993 which gained prominence by the octagonal ring of the ultimate fighting championship and created a turn around in every Jiu Jitsu generic schools around the world.
The Brazilian martial art form has grown in popularity to have its own line of equipments and clothing for use in its competition matches or dojo and finding the right Bjj Gi – which is a Brazilian term for a Jiu Jitsu counterpart equivalent to a Karate Kimono is very important. This new martial art form called Jiu Jitsu is all about grappling and throwing your opponent and hence your counterpart must be strong, durable and be be able to withstand the fall and mats used in the competitions. Too thin of a Jiu Jitsu Gi like karate kimonos will rip itself up after a few rounds of practice in the dojo, which makes it inappropriate. You and your opponents cannot be able to take a hold of Judo Gis which will be too loose to grip. Bjj Gis are designed to withstand the abuse, and give as much less advantage to either partner in taking a strong hold on his opponent.
Bjj Belts also has its own uses in Bjj, it doesn’t just fasten your Bjj Kimonos in place but also shows your rank or level in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Every martial art has its own ranking and leveling system which is every essential for every martial art enthusiast to show his level of expertise and also the level of discipline and level of hard work along dedication that has gone into the mastering of martial art.
Brazilian Jiu jitsu is a great martial arts, it can teach you discipline, can promote good health and fitness and can save your life if the situation arises. You can buy your Bjj Gis, Bjj belts and other equipments online to be closer to the level you want to achieve in the Brazilian martial art Jiu Jitsu.
