Human Weapon Jujitsu

If you could have 3 attributes what would they be?

I was watching the Matrix the other day, and when it got to the part where Neo was being programmed to learn how to fight and use weapons I wondered, “If I could program 3 attributes into my mind, what would they be.” Now there are some stipulations to this question. First off, it can’t be an impossible attribute, like to fly, or to see into the future, or anything like that. It has to be a legitimate thing that humans can do (like Jujitsu). Have fun, be creative.

1. I’d like to be able to pick up any instrument and master it quickly
2. wicked retaaded stamina in bed
3.photographic memory

Taekwondo Confusion, plz help!?

Okay, I’ve just moved to this new taekwondo school and since I changed schools I have a month to train and get ready for a belt testing to see what my new belt will be. So it’s been a month and I have learned Saju Jirugi, Chonji , and Dan Gun. I made friends with this other girl who has been there for nearly a year, but I have just learned everything she practicly knows (patterns and technquies). She is testing for a new belt too, but the problem is I test for a belt one level lower than her. Is that fair? I learned everything to know and she moves up to learn and new pattern and I stay and relearn, Dan Gun? IM CONFUSED! am i supposed to be the same belt as her or 1 below her???

You stated you will test to see what belt you will be in the new school. I would think an instructor would want to see if your skill level is comparable to the standards of the new school. Say you were a black belt in your old school, and if you are not as good as the black belts in the new school, that could reflect negatively on him and the school if you were to wear that old belt.

Who cares what belt you are? Aren’t you there for self defense, fitness, and the brotherhood with the emphasis on the self defense? I think a belt can be a good goal to strive for, but you should focus on being good. Your moves will be the true indicator of your mastery. Some styles don’t even have belts. Be happy for your fellow students and their progress. They worked hard and deserve their recognition at the school. Your day will come.
