Shotokan Karate Roundhouse Kick

Those that have been trained in Shotokan karate, could you please how to do the roundhouse kick correctly?
Thanks. I just got to the level where I am allowed to learn roundhouses but I just can get any power behind it and I really just don’t know how to make this kick.
Thanks.
i meant to say I CAN NOT get any power behind it sorry typo
there are 2 basic types of chamber for roundhouse kick
(i’ll see if i can explain it)
1- you chamber as though you are chambering for a front kick, then turn your leg over for roundhouse kick
2- you bring your leg up to the side of your body in the position for roundhouse kick,
the 2nd kick is more powerfull
both kicks require you to pivot on your supporting leg, you pivoting foot turns 180 degrees. this pivot give you the power. if you dont pivot all the way you will lose power.
power is generated through the hips and the pivot,
striking surface is the ball of the foot not the top or instep of the foot.
the instep is used in sport karate
the second video that 2Muchinf is one of the better ones i would recommended.
