im interested in taking a martial art i ve narrowed it down to aikido ad krav maga
no agressive martial art and a aggressive martial art
aikido is movememts that thro the attacker off by using their bodyweight against them with throws locks and grapples
krav maga is an israliemartial art and is a mix of strikes, locks and moves from various martial arts like jiu jitsu judo and muay tai
at long term what woudl you recommend?
Krav maga is not a martial art. It is a self defense systema. It uses techniques from a variety of martial arts. Many that teach it do not teach it correctly and give their students a false sense of hope. There are some that teach it correctly and hat could save your life.
Aikido is a great art. It is often misunderstood.

Why do some losers lie about military service?
Of the four or five losers I knew, these were the three common factors. Besides when they lie about military service, such as being (ex-)Navy SEAL, Marine RECON, Army Ranger/Green Beret, or Delta Force; they also lie about Mixed Martial Arts training with Ken Shamrock or Tito Ortiz, or go even further and say they are a “cage fighter”. They also lie about experiancing a close personal death, such as a wife, girlfriend or fiance.

has anyone ever taken a woman’s self-defense course before? I’m interested in learning to fight for safety, but I sometimes feel like the basic self-defense classes might be a little more bogus than, say, jiu-jitsu. so I dunno. are they fun? informative? is regular kickboxing or something better?
Well they teach you like how to fight with your purse & stuff. It’s pretty fun(ny). And they taught this cool trick where if a guys got you, you hit up his nose and break it. Fun :] And they tell you all the sensitive tender places on peoples body. It’s definitely worth going to if your interested.
