How does karate differ from jujutsu?
I’m looking for people who have tried both extensively, although anyone is welcome to answer.
From what I can tell both seem very rounded, and include a bit of just about everything.
I’ve heard karate focuses more on striking, although I’m sure there’s more to it than that?

japanese jujutsu and karate are similar.
both are well rounded and contain striking and grappling.
okinawan karate has a lot of grappling in it, japanese karate like shotokan, back in the 1950′s after Gichin Funakoshi died, the jka decided to focus more on the striking aspect of karate rather then the grappling aspect, like the founder was doing. the jka decided to do, this i’m not sure. but regardless it still has a lot of grappling moves.
but they are both well rounded systems and complete, using all aspects of sparing, including both stand up and ground as well as striking and grappling,
the main difference is karate came from okinawa, and jujutsu is japanese
i have taken a variety of jujutsu styles over the years. i lost count on how many

Should Kung fu be in the UFC?
I keep hearing that Because Certain fighters like Machida for example have a Heavy Karate back ground their different striking makes them Extremely deadly.
This leads me to believe that the Chinese kung fu needs to be used in these fights because it has so many angles, surprises and differences that aren’t used in the UFC, since apparently that is such a large advantage.
If it wins the fight it will be in the UFC but most obviously if its entertaining it will also.
