5 Liberating Activities I Used To Get Over My Ex Girlfriend
If you’re going through a breakup right now, you probably know it’ll pass, but you’re probably also sick and tired of hearing that. You don’t care that it “will” pass because right now you can’t think about anything but what you want and don’t haveand it’s tearing your heart in half.
I felt the same way when I was trying to get over my ex girlfriend.
It will pass though, and the important thing is finding some ways to make it pass a little quicker. Here are 5 things I did to get over my ex girlfriend.
1. I went to the Gym.
One of the best things you can do is find ways to feel better about yourself. And I know of no better way than going to the gym. I laid around the house for about 3 or 4 days after I got dumped. I didn’t want to move.
And then I sat up and said, it’s time to work on myself. As I started getting more fit, the more confidence I gainedthat was enough reason in itself, but you should have seen the look on her face when I ran into her five months later.
2. I Found a Hobby.
As bad as it hurt to lose what we had, I realized on my way home from the gym one day that I’d gained a whole new world of freedom. I didn’t have to spend all my time hanging out with my girlfriend or watching lame chick flicks.
Is there some hobby that you’ve always wanted to try but between her and work you never had the time? Brazilian jujitsu helped me get over my ex girlfriendbut what have you been wanting to try out?
Surfing? Scuba diving? Guitar? The right kind of hobby gives your life a whole new purpose.
3. I Reconnected With Friends.
It seems like the unhealthier your relationship the more you lose touch with your friends. I personally realized I had completely neglected my friends for about a year and a half. What was I thinking?
Women come and go, for the most part anyways, but a good friend will always be there. Take this time to spend time with your friends and make up for time lost. You’ll be amazed at how supportive they are even when you ditched them for so long.
4. I Took a Road Trip.
A great way to make a blast back to reality with your bros is to go on a road trip. Get out of town, get a change of scenery, and go cause some ruckus where people don’t know you. Even if you don’t go with your friends, cruise out of town and visit someone you haven’t seen in a while.
For me, all that quiet time on the road was a good time to reflect on where my life was heading…not to mention that getting out of town provided ample time for the next activity.
5. I Met More Girls.
This goes without saying…but I bet you’re still sitting there thinking, “But none of them are liker her.” Yeah, sure.
I thought the same thing, but after a couple microbrews and a night gone right with a flirty waitress, I lost that silly notion pretty quick.
Nothing can get you over the hump quicker than a new woman.
Are you at a loss to move on and want some more advice?

Karate Business Management
What should I do with my life?
Background:
I have a JD (Law) and a BA in European Studies. Some Business management training. A brown belt in Karate. Trained with and without weapons. Interests in religion, politics, history, and fighting, as well as writing, debate etc.
So naturally I have no clue what I want to do with my life. What can I do with all my interests?
Live life to its fullest. I believe that all of us are here for a reason and that we have something to offer to make life better for others or to help others reach their potential. You have so many good accomplishments it’s probably difficult for you to focus on any one thing. All I can say is that you will find what you need to do but no one is going to be able to tell you. You’ll just know.
