Black Belt Excellence?
I take American Kenpo and I was nominated by my instructors to join a class called Black Belt Club. It has more in depth training to help you progress to a black belt. Well, I have to write a letter to our Master explaining what Black Belt Excellence means to me. I have a few things, but basically I am drawing a blank. I am fairly new to karate so I don’t really have much of an opinion yet on what black belt excellence means to me.
So far I have stuff on how a black belt doesn’t make you awesome unless you have the right attitude and dedication. You complete requirements to the highest level possible. Commitment. What else should I mention in the letter?
I know WHY I want to become a black belt, the phrase black belt excellence confuses me some though. I understand it, but I haven’t developed my own opinion on what it means. I’ve only been a yellow belt since December.
