While the Spartan had training in:
Wrestling
Pankration
Boxing
Also I want you to consider the Bushido and the Spartans toughness plus it is fought on a open mat and the rules are the same as UFC.Exempt include if the spartan can hold the samurai down for 30 secs he wins

It seempt like people didn’t get what I was talking about….
First off Pankration is wrestling. It was the first style of wrestling. Second Judo came from Samurai warriors. The throws are based on disarming. Now that is out of the way we can go to the match. I think the Spartan would win for a few reasons. The Spartans spared at full speed and they know what works and doesn’t work. They know what to do and what not to do. A Samurai does train but not at full speed. Plus once you get into that ring speed help but i think conditioning help even more. The Spartans never tire. They never stop.
