Karate Champs Game

Can boxing be revived by legalizing backhands, hammer strikes, and legal full contact karate hand strikes?

It would make sense to move along with the evolution of fighting by making boxing more suitable to develop the stand up game as a training tool. It would also excite fans and bring in more people eager to see if the current champs would survive.

Then it would no longer be boxing. Boxing isn’t broke, it just needs fixing. Don’t get me wrong as I watch MMA too. And some of the fights can be somewhat boring too especially when they are on the ground. Go to youtube and watch Larry Holmes vs Ken Norton or Thomas Hearns vs Marvin Hagler and see what boxing can be and tell me it needs changing.
