Karate Adhd

My little brother punched me in the chin today..?
And he chipped a little bit of my bottom (adult) tooth. What chipped off crushed into tiny pieces. He wouldn’t get out of my bedroom and told me that if I made him get out of my room, he knew karate *laughs*. Then he punched me. For no reason. Then he said “Boys are more tougher than girls.” I haven’t told anyone yet, and I was wondering if I should…
P.S. He’s only 6, but he has ADHD and is a pretty violent and angry kid.
Yes…I believe you should tell your parents. It isnt exactly his fault he did this, but he should deserve some sort of punishment. It wasnt okay to punch you, let alone chip a tooth!
Get a trip to the dentist…and see how everything goes.
Hope it helped! (:

What is your new year’s resolution or your plans for the new year for yourself or your family?
I plan on going to school online. My family and I are going to learn a new language, hopefully. I hope to enroll my oldest son, 6 years old in Karate. We were planning on having a new baby too, but my 6 year old was recently diagnosed with ADHD and we want to focus on what we have right now instead of adding to it, and possibly more problems. Who knows what else may happen?
Okay, I’m going to be 18 In February…and i also graduate in 2009.
So i want to stay focused for the rest this last semester of high school (Make nothing Lower than a “B”),I’m going to star applying to colleges and things like that.
I am also going to start working, because i dont want to have to ask my grandparetns for money anymore, I have been sheltered and overprotected by them since i was a baby, so now its time for me to do for myself (what i can do at least)
I am also going to try to be more people oriented, I am sometimes told that i lack compassion and i am somewhat cold hearted, i used to think that was the way to be, but it doesn’t get u very far.
Ummm everything else is pretty much basic, like:
Staying fit (drinking only water and V8 slash)
Taking care of my body (Doing sit ups and moisturizing daily)
Go to church more often, and be MORE honest with myself and others.
Martial Arts Helps People with ADD or ADHD
aikido self control
Is muay thai really a form of self-”defense” or more of an offense?
I just started muay thai and having done aikido for two years I find that muay thai cannot be considered a self-Defense whereas Aikido came with the complete package and taught evasiveness, locks, controls, etc. Of course I am not comparing the two styles as one is “soft” and the other is “hard” I just wanted to know if anyone agrees with me about muay thai and that to be a proper martial artist one desperately needs a supplement with it. So what can I do to make muay thai a part of complete package?
I don’t know, would you want to start a fight with someone who knows muay thai and has a kick waiting for you when you make the first move?

Lock On: Joint Locking Essentials Volume 1: Wrist Locks $34.95 “These techniques are, indeed, powerful tools and should be practiced carefully with a partner. They are intended for close, confrontational situations, which are usually the real-life situations where defense is needed. Nothing fancy here. Just straightforward techniques that work. I’ve used some of them before to stop more escalated fight situations, so I know they work. Alain Burrese presents t… |

Lock On: Joint Locking Essentials Volume 3: Shoulder Locks $34.95 “On its own, volume 3 could be a very useful resource in developing a deeper understanding of shoulder locks. The entire set (so far) looks like it will be fairly comprehensive and will serve as a great resource for learning how to use these locks as well as a great resource for picking up tips on how to teach them. I’d recommend this volume, as well as the whole set, for students and instructors … |
