I’m a Sopomore in Highschool and looking for a job. Where can i look?
I just turned 15 this year. I don’t get my drivers licences till Junior Year. But i have 128 Hours of Community Service. Including the Red Cross, Working at School, and even participating with the local SWAT Team. I am also a Junior Officer (Explorer) for the local Police Department. The problem i am having is that most people look for people who are 16 or older. And when you say your 15 its like your automatically immature. I can get a ride to the job by my dad or brother. So thats not a issue. Also the job i want is something with Security. I have taken 4 years of Judo and Karate. I do Wrestling at highschool and i can handle my self. But in a Security job you have many people with you that you can trust. I have more expeirence than most people my age. Any suggestions?
i am a junior and i had the same problem, everyone was older than me and i had no liscence. what i did was apply for a job as an umpire. Its fun and easy and pay is good. You could also become a soccer ref. Any type of reffing is easy and employers are always looking for new, young people to work. Hope i could help a little.
