Kenpo Karate Championships 2009?

hi all,

We will be travelling to Vegas in October 2009 to compete in the Kenpo Karate World Championships, my friend will be 18 by then, what will be available for her to do as i believe it is 21 for gambling lol.
also how long does it take to get to San Diego from Vegas, I have a friend that lives there from Glasgow, Scotland and am hoping to go visit him during the trip.

any sensible answers appreciated
